Ingredients:
- 1 pack of empanadilla wrappers
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg for egg wash
Instructions:
In a pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat
Add diced onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes to the beef
Saut until vegetables are soft
Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper
Mix well
Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto each empanadilla wrapper
Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top
Fold the empanadilla wrappers in half to form a half-moon shape
Seal the edges with a fork
Brush the empanadillas with beaten egg for a golden finish
Preheat your Actifry to 380F 190C
Place the empanadillas in the Actifry basket in a single layer, without overcrowding
Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy
Serve hot and enjoy your delicious empanadillas
