Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup green food coloring
- 1 package 3
- 4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Green food coloring for frosting
- Gummy worms for decoration
- Green decorating gel for slime effect
Instructions:
Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin
Put the vegetable oil, eggs, buttermilk, hot water, and green food coloring in a mixing bowl in that order
Mix everything together well
Fill the cupcake liners about two thirds of the way to the top with cupcake batter
After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean
After taking the cupcakes out of the oven, let them cool in the pan for a few minutes
Then, move them to a wire rack to finish cooling
Get the frosting ready while the cupcakes cool
While the butter is soft, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl until the mixture is smooth and creamy
To make slime the color you want, add green food coloring
Ice the cupcakes with the green slime frosting as soon as they are cool
Use the green decorating gel to make drips and splatters on top of the cupcakes to make them look like sewer slime
To finish off the TMNT sewer theme, put a gummy worm on top of each cupcake
