These Shrimp and Bacon Kabobs are a delicious combination of savory bacon-wrapped shrimp and colorful veggies, all marinated to perfection and grilled to smoky, flavorful perfection. They make for a mouthwatering appetizer or a main course for any barbecue gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 slices of bacon, cut into halves
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 zucchini, sliced into rounds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions:

To make the marinade, mix the lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, olive oil, and whisk them together in a bowl

Put the shrimp, bacon, bell peppers, red onion, and zucchini on the wet wooden skewers one after the other

Pour the marinade over the kabobs that have been put together in a shallow dish

Make sure they have a good coat on

Put the dish in the fridge with the lid on for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors mix

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

The kabobs should be cooked on each side for four to five minutes, or until the bacon is golden and the shrimp turn pink

While the kabobs are cooking on the grill, brush them with any extra marinade

After theyre done, take them off the grill and let them rest for a few minutes

Serve the Shrimp and Bacon Kabobs hot with a salad or your favorite dipping sauce
