Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes
Set aside
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat
Add the sliced chicken to the hot skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until its cooked through
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil if needed
Add minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant
Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they become tender-crisp
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and broccoli, and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Serve hot, and enjoy your Asian-style stir-fried chicken and broccoli
